Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I skied the Red, Brown, Purple, Green and parts of Blue and Yellow. It was pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon. Wow, great skiing. Not too cold, not too warm. You really could ski with your best skis, except for maybe a little (avoidable) dirt. Since it hasn't snowed lately, there's some leaf litter. I skated, but the tracks looked pretty darn good too. I don't even think I saw much of any footprints in places where there shouldn't be any. Thanks groomers!

Trails are in great condition, thanks groomers! Soft in areas and slow with the cold and new snow, but great coverage. Very little debris and thankfully no footprints except from the deer. B skis only because of the road crossings and the chance of stones on a few of the climbs.

[ Good skis ]
Skied most of the park. Good to excellent conditions. Really appreciate the work of the groomers...nicely done! The pink trail is not groomed (multi purpose) but still surprisingly skied well -- 2 inches of powder over a hard trail. The Yellow trail was a bit soft due to lower traffic. Such a beautiful day and great track.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
2” of new snow. Everything is now freshly groomed and new tracks are set on all trails. Conditions are very good. There are still a very few bare spots. Since the system has just been groomed, it is a little in the soft side.

A nice ski, did the skiing from the group camping lot to the beach Peking area by the river. Open areas were wind blown sometimes with snow packed in, other times icy. In the woods it was more consistent. Debris down in the woods, and some thin spots.

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
An inch of snow overnight made the trails somewhat soft and slow but great to get an edge. Grooming on silver, brown, green with little debris and a nice ski. No grooming yet on yellow, red and parts of purple. Brown trail rollercoaster was not groomed yet but skied in, fast and fun. Areas under the pines on yellow and up on the "prairie" trails had some bare spots, better to avoid yellow until we get some more snow.

Observation
Tracks looked great as I passed the ski trail while snowshoeing on the Prairie Trail. Nice job groomers. Hope to enjoy the tracks soon.
