Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire trail system was rolled today. Tracks were set and skate lanes renovated with good looking corduroy. Pole plants and skate deck are a bit soft and should be firming up with the cold temps. Good to very good conditions.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails were freshly rolled. Beautiful day to be out among the hemlocks and white pines. We practically had the whole place to ourselves! A few places where dirt or grass was visible, but easily avoided. Groomers said they were waiting for a few more inches of snow ( maybe that's why it was only rolled and not fully groomed.) In any case, it was worth the 30 min drive.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
A beautiful place to ski. Surprised at how firm and level the deck was considering they just started grooming after the muzzle season recently ended. The 2 plus inches of snow completely covered any thin spots. Tracks were visible but partially filled with the new snow.

Afternoon
Observation
Stopped to check on Mecca on my way back from ABR, around 4pm. Looks like grooming has started. Note combed trail and rolled one in the photo. The combed one looked ready to skate on, but don't want to mess up trails until they're done.
