Trails are in very good condition. Groomer Pete is to be commended. All skate lanes are hard packed, rolled and fast. No ice. Tracks are missing in a just a few places. Temperature was 32-34F. Felt like Spring skiing. No crowds.

Very very great. Classic skied from 28F to 34F. Track fast and solid, no washout. snow still kickable, no super wax needed, some leaves in track. Skate smooth, fast and firm... even at 34F. Snow has not transformed even with warm temps. Snowfall has not been generous since Dec 27th, but when the owner/groomer is from Planet Groom, wonders can occur!

We Had a great ski this morning at Afterglow. Skate lanes were re-groomed last night and we were the first ones out on the trail this morning! Well worth the drive to find good skiing.

Very good conditions. Great speed for classic skiing. A few areas a minimal snow. Pole plants were decent. The speed of the snow way exceeded my expectations.

Went north for some good snow and was not disappointed. Tracks and grooming were excellent. Could use good skis without concern.

The classic tracks are in excellent condition with a good base. A new dusting of snow made the skiing easy and fun. Conditions are wonderful!

There are some bumpy skate lane sections, but overall we found the skate deck to be wonderful. The tracks are full depth and were also in wonderful shape. Some leaves in the tracks grabbed our waxed skis a bit now and then. Great skiing overall! A beautiful day in the Northwoods. Afterglow is worth the drive to ski.
