Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After being out of town for three days I am playing catch-up at Razorback. Robert did an excellent job of rolling all trails and grooming skate loops over the weekend. I went out this morning to groom and track Short Cut, Pine Hollow and Oak Ridge on the classic side. Tracks set up deep and firm. I plan to be going out early tomorrow morning to groom and track the remaining classic loops. Conditions on what we have finished are excellent.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All skate loops where groomed this morning. With the exception of having to back down a couple steep hills and leaving a pile of snow behind (which will be cleaned up next grooming) skate loops are in great shape. Grooming plans: Will is heading out either this afternoon or tomorrow to set track on the classic loops (they are rolled and packed).

It looks like we picked up a good 6 or so inches of snow so far - whatever it is, it was too much for the 9' foot groomer so switched to the roller and after a minor issue, got all 30K of trail rolled this afternoon/evening. Depending on how much more we get overnight into the morning, we will either be rolling or grooming tomorrow.

Finished setting track on all classic loops about noon. Mostly deep, firm tracks. Skate loops were groomed last night by Robert, and they are excellent. Pretty much all the leaf and pine needle litter is now all covered. Should be great skiing until next snowfall.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Just finished grooming up the fresh 2+" of snow we received overnight on the skate loops. Will is out doing the same on the classic trails right now. Making progress with the brushing, putting time in yesterday and today while grooming and the fresh snow is helping bury the debris. Overall trails are in great shape.

Firsthand: Classic

Nicely done and fresh, we being the second and third pole plants in view. I liked how the groomers set a single center track, avoiding branches and side whips. Tracks somewhat shallow due to conditions, but plenty of snow depth under foot. Hats off to Will and Rob for a job well done. Quite a few cars coming and going on a Friday afternoon confirm their good work.

Grooming

Just finished grooming all the skate loops. All loops got two passes and have really firmed up and leveled out. Did more brushing along the trails focusing on Bruce's Roundabout. Trails should be in excellent shape for the weekend.

Grooming

Just finished grooming and tracking all classic loops. Excellent, deep tracks for the most part. Final two kilometers back in where the trail is shared with skate lane, tracks are mostly quite good with a few short pieces of shallow, sketchy tracks. Doug's Folly is a Mecca for oak leaves, and there are scattered oak leaves here and there on other loops, but otherwise they are not a hinderance. Robert is out grooming all skate loops now. With the way the short portion I groomed on the dual-use section, skating should be absolutely excellent.

Skied all the skating trail segments today and they were excellent. First time I'd seen Bruce's Roundabout loop groomed this season which was a nice surprise. Get out and enjoy these nicely groomed trails. Many thanks to Will and Robert for their excellent work.
