Great conditions! Skied the Oak Ridge - tracks were well-traced and conditions were awesome. A few places where the tracks were a little washed out on the last segment, returning to the chalet, as it is more heavily traveled. Thank you so much for keeping the chalet warmed and opened!

We picked up a little bit of snow overnight so tidied up the skate loops this afternoon. They should be in great shape for the weekend.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Finished grooming and tracking all classic loops today. Mostly excellent conditions. Except for final 1k coming in tracks are deep and firm. Dress for the cold and enjoy some great skiing. Skate loops are in excellent condition as well.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
It took a couple days to work through the 10+ inches of snow we got on Thursday but all the skate loops are finally groomed and in tip top shape. If you can tolerate the cold and likely slow skiing you won't be disappointed. Classic loops are scheduled to be groomed and trackset on Sunday.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
For two months we've been waiting for good snow. Now we have more than we needed all at one time. Robert Polic was out yesterday rolling all skate trails. I got all the classic loops rolled this morning. Robert is out again now grooming the skate loops. I plan to be out tomorrow morning grooming and tracking all classic loops. From what I've seen so far, conditions for both skate and ski should be excellent throughout the week.

A fun day on the beautiful trails and scenic forest. Thanks to Will Maines for impeccable grooming and a well designed system. Used best skis with no concerns. Haven’t been there for a number of years, but will be back soon.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Finished grooming Long Rider and Bruce's Roundabout on the skate side this morning. All loops at Razorback are now groomed--tracked on the classic side. Good skis could be used, but dealing with some stretches with considerable leaves and other litter and dirt showing, especially on the skate loops, I would use B skis. With care, good skis could be used with little chance of damage. Overall, for the amount of snow we have, all loops, especially on the classic side, are good to very good in my estimation.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I finished grooming and tracking all classic loops today. For the most part I would rate the tracks good to very good. Occasionally, especially where set on shared classic/skate section, they can be a little washed out. Just a few dirty spots remain. B skis are probably best, though good skis could be used with caution in the iffy places. I did one pass of skate loop grooming on Ridge Trail, Will's Crossing, Roller Coaster and Mary's Frolic. A lot of good to very good sections, but enough brown spots that I would definitely recommend B skis. The plan is to groom Long Rider and Bruce's Roundabout tomorrow. There is little that additional grooming can do to improve conditions to an all good ski category without more snowfall.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
I started out on my good skis but quickly changed to B skis and I’m glad I did. The trails were nice and level but lots of dirty snow and occasional rocks. Everything was nicely groomed but needs a little more snow. Did not do the classic trails so that could have been different.
