Due to the significant snowfall today the groomer will be busy only packing trail. Little to no trail will be groomed with corduroy. Normal grooming will start back up tomorrow after the snow stops.

We skated and classic skied the newly groomed green and red trails around noon today. That 7 day a week grooming is so awesome! The trails had been rolled and most of them tracked, the rest skied in. The snow was coming down hard enough where it covered the fresh cord, but the groomer kept going around so portions of it were fresh again! Kudos to the groomers for giving us trails we can always count on to be freshly groomed!

Skied the red and blue loops and part of the green. Fresh snow from yesterday on skied in tracks on red and green portions. The blue loop is rolled only and set up for multiuse so it would be much better skate skiing or a fun run on racing snowshoes maybe. The skate lanes were all recently groomed but tracks were not set yet today on the portions I did. Beautiful crisp ski, can't wait to do the other loops systems soon.

15 degrees and snowing at Sup Town Muni Trail this morning. Fresh grooming as per protocol made for a sweet skate deck. Skied around green and red several times following the groomer. As he expanded so did I. Though I did ski the Gold ungroomed, as I finished the loop the groomer was heading out on it. Purple still has a few spots where you better pay attention. But I skied it out and back. No damage whatsoever to my best skis.

Once again it was well worth the trip over the bridge to have a freshly groomed morning ski! The classic tracks were pristine by 11 am as well as the fresh firm cord on the skate deck! Huge thank you to those hard working groomers for making it so perfect so quickly after a snow! Seven day a week grooming is awesome! I skied the red and green today.

I was shocked to see an 8 without a negative sign in front of it this morning. Knowing the forecast I took advantage ang headed across the bridge for Sup- town. As usual the groomers were out. But, alas, they had yet to set a track. I broke trail for an hour or so was going to leave. But when I got back to the car... new track! So I did a few more K. Was it cold? Nope. Was it a solid track? Nope... but I bet it is now.

I had to post again about the great conditions at SMF. Once again, fresh grooming on all trails. It was a bit slow for skate but what do you expect at 5 degrees. The best trail, yellow, has firmed up and is in excellent condition. Hiker and fatbike tracks on the Blue but no significant trail damage (please, at least stay to the side of the trail)-- I do miss the hills on the old Blue. Again, thank you so much SMF trail crew for all your work on these awesome trails. Please, please, please support this gem of the Twin Ports.

Driving across the bridge to Superior is always worth it with the seven day a week grooming, it is a daily treat! We classic skied and one skate skied the red and green today. The fresh beautiful cord crafted by the talented groomers along with the firm deep classic tracks were perfect! This week the trails are free to ski on...however, purchasing a pass is inexpensive and worth every penny! Plenty of out of the wind trails to explore during the deep freeze too!
