Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The new snow groomed up nicely and was firm yet silky, and the sun came out. Can't ask for more. The base keeps getting thicker and thicker, in the 2 1/2 to 3 foot range, with at least 4 feet of snow on the ground.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We are holding off on grooming today because we can't keep up with the rapid accumulation on the trails--not a bad problem! There is still a solid base beneath the new snow, but expect slow conditions because of heavy, dense snow that is building up throughout the day. Report at 9:45 am.

Excellent conditions abound at Swedetown, with plenty of base and lots of fresh snow. Grooming plans: The Husky will be headed out shortly to till and track the trails at Swedetown. The Dog Loops have been rolled and the Snow Bike trails will be dragged as the temperature rises. Please use caution while we are still in the throes of the latest Polar Vortex!
