Notes

Beginner to expert trails. Up, down, turns, mixed stands of forest and clearings provide an exciting terrain for the skier. The flow of the trail is Swedetown's specialty. The trails are groomed daily for skating and striding. 4 km of trails lighted until 8 p.m. Host to the annual Great Bear Chase in March.

Grooming plans: The Husky will be headed out shortly to till and track the trails at Swedetown. The Dog Loops have been rolled and the Snow Bike trails will be dragged as the temperature rises. Please use caution while we are still in the throes of the latest Polar Vortex!

Even with the frigid temperatures, trails are currently being tracked and tlled, with grooming expected to be completed around 2:00 pm. The snow bike trails have been dragged but please use discretion: if they're too soft please try again later in the day after the snow has had a chance to set up. The Dog Loops have been rolled. Excellent conditions! Grooming report submitted at 12:00 pm.

We decided on a delayed start for grooming this morning because it just keeps coming down! The snow bike trails and Dog Loops have been dragged, and the main trails will be tilled and tracked this morning. If you're out early, please use caution as the Husky will be out working this new snow into our 2' base!
