Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]

Chassell was rolled on Monday, January 18th. We received some new, very light lake effect on Monday night. New tracks were set on Tuesday, evening, with grooming concluded about 7:30 p.m. Conditions range from fair to very good. We really need another 4 inches of dense snow to have a solid base.

Our base is very thin, so no grooming until we get more snow. The trail saw a lot of use this weekend, so the tracks and glazed and very fast. Ski with caution and do a snow dance.

Firsthand: Classic [ Trails Open: All, ]

My daughter, Linnea, and I had a fun sunset classic ski at the Chassell classic trail. It’s so neat as it winds through the forest and over the mini gorge with creek below. Tracks always seem a little slippery than other trails so it’s a fun fast ride back down. Kudos to those taking care of this gem!
