Long downhills, gathering speed and sharp turns at the bottom are distinctive of the trails you will find here. 34k of groomed trails, 24k of skate trails, 7k lighted trails in the evening until 9pm. Trails are groomed daily to manage the 200"+ of annual snowfall. Heated chalets at the Main Trailhead and Nara Trailhead.

Conditions were perfect! Skating was fast and some trails barely had any skiers on them into the afternoon.

All trails are open. The base is 3-4", but is very, very solid. No problem using your good skis. Classic tracks are set on 2km and are in good shape.

Skied the upper green loops at the Michigan Tech trails. They were firm, flat and well groomed. Good skis can be used. Only two blue trails were open.

Skied Nara and the Core trails. Nara was still pretty rough. Some ice and bare ground and soft. Core trails were better. Swedetown is much faster. Great to be out!
