About 10 miles of trail were groomed and conditions were perfect. OzAwindib, Red pine, south entrance and bike trail from visitors center to the headwaters were in beautiful shape.

I skied the bike trail from Brower visitor center toward the headwaters. At Leary, the first part of that was in fine shape, double tracked for classic and good base.

[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
One of the most scenic and historic trails in Minnesota is always a thrill. Skied the 9 mile loop from the visitor center to the Mississippi River headwaters and back. Trail in great shape. Shallow in some areas, ski tips hit bottom, but ski tracks were nearly flawless. Kudos to long time groomer Kenny.
