Soaring Ragle has been packed and groomed for the first time this season. Snow depth is 4" with a 1" packed skate trail. There's not enough to set a classic track, but the close mowing last fall has made skating at least a possibility. It's a little thin and twiggy especially under the balsams, but still fun in old skis. Snowshoe trails are all marked and in use, with those trails also open to hikers and dogs. MN ski pass required for ski trails, which are ski only. Lilly's loop was redesigned last year to avoid some private land and smooth out a little dipsy doodle of a hill. However Lilly's hill is closed, awaiting more snow to cover up some rocks.
