Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We skied Acorn, Ojibway, Pioneer and Little Ben. Little Ben's classic was pretty much blown out. Everything else was decent. Great skiing despite it being below zero.

Excellent conditions on the Arb trails today. Solid classic track and nice corduroy on the skate deck. Very little tree detritus on the skiing surface anymore. Should be great conditions for Lumberjack Jaunt on Saturday.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Open about 90% with amazing classic and skate grooming! A few natural debris from the trees but nothing major. I would not bring my good skis here. These trails made me very happy because I often ski them alone.

Had a wonderful ski late this afternoon. The trails were the best I've seen at the Arboretum this year - nearly pristine! Great job by the groomers!

Excellent conditions all-around! For trail length, quality, and scenery the Northland arboretum is a real gem.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails are in great condition! Most trails have been recently groomed and the temp is absolutely perfect today. I recommend getting out to ski before warmer weather. These trails have become a staple for us when we're in the area. Thanks to everyone involved in keeping up the trails!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Most of the low hanging branches have been cleared and a lot of the sticks have been tossed off the trails, but still areas with a bunch of smaller pine branches and other sticks. Overall good conditions for skate and classic. Note there will be school races at Arb on Wednesday Dec 28 from 10:00 to 4:00.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails are open and were groomed and tracked Thursday morning. Watch out for low hanging branches and expect more branches and trees to come down with the windy weather. A number of branches and sticks still on the trails but good snow coverage everywhere.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied all of the easier trails in the bottom half of the map, which were all groomed for skate and classic (Acorn, Pioneer, Ojibwe, Little Ben) with the exception of Polatch which didn't have classic track set yet but still very skiable. Thanks to the groomers who had a lot of downed branches to clear from the trails. Some needles and twigs remain. Sounded like they were still working on grooming the trails further from the visitor center (North Star and Johnson).

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Two rounds of wet snow have brought down many trees and branches. Some trails have been rolled a couple times and are good for skiing, if a little lumpy yet. Grooming plans: Focus Friday will be clearing trees from remainder of trails, then working on more grooming.
