Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Freshly groomed. A firm classic track has been set. The skate deck is a little soft, but the trail is fast with the colder weather.

Still in excellent shape and freshly groomed, they were working on them again while I skied. Unfortunately, no classical tracks were set on the 5.5 K loop at that time.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Freshly groomed; excellent condition on the 5.5 K loop (didn't ski the shorter ones). A tad soft, but in great shape. Classical tracks didn't start until 2K in; hopefully they were set later.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The groomer had just finished setting the classic track when I arrived. Two to three inches of new snow today. Best snow in years for this time of year. The city has apparently hired and experienced groomer and it seems to be paying off already. Skate deck is soft, but the groomer was still working on it when I left.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Entire trail has great snow coverage and is compacted (though pole plants were punchy in a few spots). The skate deck is a bit uneven laterally at the moment but the groomer was out there working on it. Classic tracks were there in some spots but not there in others.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Did the 5K loop a couple times. It has been packed though it is still very soft. Very easy to bottom out and damage your skis while climbing. Reasonably fun and very pretty!

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
The trail has been packed and skied on. No track set yet. Lots of snow and looks like good gliding.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Eight to ten inches of new snow. Skied part of the front loop and all of the back loop. Not groomed. I could not see my skis much of the time. Slow going, but better on the way back where I picked up my own tracks. Great to be out, spent too much time in the gym to pass up the opportunity to get out.
