Did all but the blue loop on the east side trails. Fantastic grooming! Surprised it was so good with only one grooming for the season! Deep set tracks. Minimal pole punching through. Some pine needles. Looked like little arrows piercing the trails in spots. But not bad enough to grab the kick wax. Lots of wolf track activity! Get out tomorrow before the next wave of snow and cold. It was 25 ABOVE, Blue Extra for kick worked great!

The entire trail system was groomed and a single track set. Good base, no rocks to worry about. This was the first time the trail has been groomed and tracked this season. It should be good skiing!

The trail has been packed two wide with a snowmobile probably last week. It has not been groomed or tracked but packing the trail greatly improved the skiing! I skied west to intersection 22 then north to the shelter. The trail was also packed west of that. It appears the whole system has been packed double wide including the far north "swamp loop".

This U.S. Department of Agriculture ski trail is currently not groomed and the parking lot not plowed due to the lapse in federal government funding. The ski trail grooming and parking lot plowing will restart once Congress restores funding.
