16" of snow were received late last week. The trails were groomed and tracked on Friday and then again on Sunday morning. Conditions don't get any better than this! We brought our youth team of 13 skiers and 15 adults to train and enjoy the ski and snow shoe trails. Everyone had a fantastic time! Recommend that everyone make at least one trip to Valley Spur before this season concludes!

Great classic skiing this morning. Dan was combing out the skate lanes which came out well. The snowshoe trail was packed by the 10 a.m. Ladies group. A lot of snow still on the trees, so come see fantastic scenery.

Valley Spur was hit with an unexpected, and unwelcomed freak snow storm that dumped around 16 inches of fresh very cold snow yesterday. Dave and I finally got all trails open by late afternoon today. The classic tracks are real nice and the skate deck is roller combed and pretty firm. Temperatures remain quite cold so dress for it if you come out!

Beautiful trails and grooming. Cold temps and new snow made skating difficult but classic was wonderful. Always a nice stop the day after the Noque!

Excellent classic skiing today after the fresh snow the last two days. A nice turnout of skiers who all were well dressed for the conditions. Noque skiers stop by Sunday morning, trails will be groomed and the wood stove will be cranking.

We received about 7 inches of lake effect snow in the last 24 hrs so we roll packed and set track most of the day today and it groomed up very nice. Temp stayed below 5 degrees today so the snow was setting up quickly. Good Luck to all the Noque skiers tomorrow!

Beautiful trails, very well maintained. Best skis, excellent condition. The lodge is a nice place to change and warm up with the wood stove keeping it nice and warm! We did the difficult trails and I highly recommend doing the Z trail in the back.

Excellent. Plenty of snow. Tracks in good shape and firm even skating deck. Enjoyable day. Thanks to all the volunteers who make it happen up here.

We drove 5 hours to ski at Spur Valley and arrived on a zero degree morning. Snow was slow going making everything harder. We skated every loop today (some twice) and have to say we love this place. The warming hut was really packed full today, but the fire was roaring hot and soup was delicious. Kudos to the groomers, well done! I followed both groomers for a while just admiring their Jeep tracked snow grooming set up. Thanks very much for the fantastic experience. A+.

Dan has all trails in excellent condition. Two feet of fresh snow yesterday morning plus another 2" during the day. Great classic skiing. Start Terva or Guru Green is good for kick in the cold fresh snow. Skate lanes have great coverage and the big hills are slower with the cold snow. Dan and Dave are out early Saturday morning grooming.
