Mother Nature really dropped one on us this time! Snow, rain, more wet snow then single digit temps with 55mph wind gusts and more snow. If you like storms this was as good as it gets! We cleared, rolled and set track on A, B, D and down skaters heaven today and we will be back at it tomorrow. Lots of limbs and twigs and a few trees down with a lot of low hanging branches. We should have all trails cleared tomorrow but there will still be a fair amount of smaller debris till we get more snow.

Beautiful day out there, but super soft conditions. So much snow that the trails feel like a luge course.

We have gotten around 16 inches of fresh snow in the last couple days. It took 2 full days to get all segments done but we finished today around 3:30. Trails are a bit soft right now but we will be working them over pretty hard the next couple days and they should tighten up pretty quick. We love our snow but this month has been a little ridiculous!

Another 6 inches of fresh, cold snow last night. 7 degrees this morning. Rolled and set track on all trails today. Beautiful classic tracks. Cold temps will firm the skate deck pretty quickly. Will be grooming again in the morning.

16" of snow were received late last week. The trails were groomed and tracked on Friday and then again on Sunday morning. Conditions don't get any better than this! We brought our youth team of 13 skiers and 15 adults to train and enjoy the ski and snow shoe trails. Everyone had a fantastic time! Recommend that everyone make at least one trip to Valley Spur before this season concludes!

Great classic skiing this morning. Dan was combing out the skate lanes which came out well. The snowshoe trail was packed by the 10 a.m. Ladies group. A lot of snow still on the trees, so come see fantastic scenery.

Valley Spur was hit with an unexpected, and unwelcomed freak snow storm that dumped around 16 inches of fresh very cold snow yesterday. Dave and I finally got all trails open by late afternoon today. The classic tracks are real nice and the skate deck is roller combed and pretty firm. Temperatures remain quite cold so dress for it if you come out!

Beautiful trails and grooming. Cold temps and new snow made skating difficult but classic was wonderful. Always a nice stop the day after the Noque!

Excellent classic skiing today after the fresh snow the last two days. A nice turnout of skiers who all were well dressed for the conditions. Noque skiers stop by Sunday morning, trails will be groomed and the wood stove will be cranking.
