Trails were scratched up some more this morning, skied all the trails that were available. Jeff did a great job. Some debris churned up with the groomer. Surprisingly good in other areas.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Trails throughout are icy. Groomers have broken and crushed the ice on the brown & red trails, making them skiable for skaters. The yellow and green loops remain ice covered and hazardous.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
Ski trails are very soft. In order to preserve the delicate ski base please stay off the trails until lower temperatures harden up the base.

Lots of debris from all the heavy winds but good to see all the snow. Trails in general were just fine.

All trails have been rolled, no track as of 1 PM. We received approximately 15 inches of new snow. It should set up nicely.

Perfect conditions. No bare spots. No debris in tracks. Much more kick than expected for such cold temperatures. There were a few other cars in lot.

I skate skied the purple and brown trails late Thursday morning. The trails are well covered with snow, with only a few areas with leaves sticking out. The trail had about one inch of light snow over the groomed base. Overall, it was fairly soft. The classic track looked good in almost all spots; with only a few thin spots, especially under evergreen trees. A light snow was falling as I skied.

Finally Greenbush has a good snow cover. The trails are groomed and tracked and I would classify the trail conditions as very good. You might encounter some leaves on the trail, mostly on the classical track, but I felt very comfortable using my good classic skis.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Rock skis ]
All trails rolled since 4" of snow on Friday night / Saturday morning, there was a thin ice base on entire system and the rolled snow was adhering to the ice surprising well. Skied all trails, brown, red, and purple to green to purple were surprisingly good, if you do not mind some debris. Rock skis recommended.
