Classic skied the brown trail three times. It had been dragged, probably this morning. Tracks are ok, skate deck good to very good shape.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Wonderful skiing on Monday afternoon. Good conditions, enough snow. I am not familiar with different ski types - B or rock - but any would do.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Millimeter by centimeter Greenbush is approaching peak winter ski conditions. Thanks to the masterful grooming efforts of Jeff Welsch last night and this morning all loops are near perfect for classic and skate. Skate deck is still a bit soft and the classic track is thin in a few places but we're getting there.

Classic skied parts of the red, green, and purple trails. All freshly groomed, with some new track laid down. Very good conditions. Thank you groomers.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I skied the purple loop twice today. I used my best skis. That trail is in great condition. When skiing through the pine trees there were some needles but nothing that slowed me down. I have no photos but it was beautiful out there today.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All skate trails were groomed last night. I could not do anything with the classic track. I skated all of the loops this morning. There is at least 1" of cold new snow on the trail system which slows things down somewhat. Overall there are very good skate conditions on all trails. Classic skiing would be better out of the track for the most part new snow not withstanding. Let's hope new snowfall!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trail system is in pretty good shape if you don’t mind lots of debris in the conifer areas. Jeff dragged and set some track Monday. Tuesdays warm temps didn’t do too much damage. All in all, it was a good, but cold ski experience late Wednesday.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Many thanks to whomever groomed the classic purple trail which now has grooves, even in the conifers. I was able to ski even in the dark without needing visual.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skated all of purple and brown just before sunset, with a couple small diversions. Good to use B or rock skis, as a couple of spots further out on purple had quite a few and unavoidable pinecones. Still worth the trip and visit, as there is more snow at Greenbush than most of the surrounding area. Can't say much as to the quality of the classic tracks, but know there were a few places they were washed out- that said, we saw plenty of folks taking advantage of both styles across the whole system. Groomers have done a really nice job on all trails!
