Trail Detail
Notes
These trails are located about 15 miles south of Munising and are part of the Hiawatha National Forest. Grooming is on a somewhat irregular basis, and trails (three loops) are rated easy to difficult. Described as very wooded and scenic, with more of a "backcountry" feel. There's also a rustic cabin for rent near this trail.Trail Reports

Groomed whole system today. All three loops are in good shape, still need more snow under the conifers. Otter Slide on loop A is in much better shape, thanks to the cold and more snow. Track is set on 90% of the trail. Enjoy.

Groomed entire system, good to great conditions, still thin under the conifers, Otter slide still needs more snow and cold weather, use caution when crossing through there. Enjoy!

Groomed and set track on 70% of the system, still thin under the Hemlocks and there is some debris. Use caution when crossing otter slid, which is near McKeever cabin, still need more snow and cold weather to firm it up in there.
