Lonesome grouse is double tracked and fantastic! Firm tracks and lovely snow covered trees. Looked like all of the south trails got their Friday grooming.

Skied the Lonesome Grouse and the Bear Paw trails from their respective parking lots. Beautiful tracks and scenery throughout. Quite a few people out with partial sun and temperature of +7 degrees. Nice to see all the bat habitat poles installed around the lake (see picture). Bear Paw biffy and parking lot.

Skated nine pines and classic skied lonesome grouse. South trails are groomed and a single set of classic tracks set. Some of the skate track is soft in spots and an inch of new snow made it slow... or maybe that was me. Classic track was firm. Great to have it groomed. Thank you MN power groomer.

Boulder's south loops are rolled and tracked and in terrific shape for classic. Looked a bit soft for skate. Beautiful in the woods with the snow on the pines.

Not groomed as of 4pm. There were skied-in classic tracks on bear paw, nine pines, and blue ox. Not sure of other trails. Pretty good track, given the lack of grooming. Plenty of snow, just waiting for the groomer.

Great snow pack on Blue Ox, has been skied by both classic and skate skiers since the latest snow. Other trails less packed but still ski-able. Not professionally groomed yet.

Very fluffy manually skied in trails. We skied Nine Pine which had excellent snow coverage. The skate deck looked very challenging in the deep snow conditions.

Observation
Parked at Bear Paw and did not observe ski-able conditions. Grass showing in many areas. Would not advise taking the time to visit at this point in time.

Skied Bear Paw. "Random-access" tracks are skier-created, no recent grooming apparent. Couple of blow-downs across trail, but skied around them without problem. Be careful with deep pole plants until we get a few more inches of snow. A skate skier went sailing past me without problem despite lack of groomed skate deck. Another skier reported that Blue Ox had some deadfall across that trail that they had to step across.

Enjoyed a short ski trip on Bear Paw. No tracks set for classic but plenty to jump into. Saw a few skate skiers as they passed me by. A couple pics as was near sundown and the moon was out. Nice to have it close to home to enjoy.
