Trail Reports

2019-2020 season
Reports 31 to 32 of 32    Month: Feb | Jan | Nov
Friday, November 15, 2019
Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails had about 1-2 inches of snow Friday evening. Orange, Blue and Green trails are pretty rocky, and would be best rated as No-Go. The white loop was navigable but had lots of oak leaves and debris, and rates as poor. Purple and Brown loops were navigable without removing skis, using some care to avoid grass and double polling in spots where it is thin and sketchy. Some sections under the tall pines could reasonably be rated as fair for stretches of 100m or so in length.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Skied white loop with no-wax older classic skis. Not bad, some icing with mud on bottoms, but woods really beautiful with 3" of snow on the ground.
