Trails were very fast, as the warm weather followed by a cool evening, led to iced up tracks and an icy-looking skate deck. As we left, the groomer was heading out to try to scratch up the ice and improve the conditions. If you do not mind fast conditions, the trails are great!

Due to the warm weather we will not be grooming until we get a little snow and cooler temps. Conditions are still pretty good but a bit icy. Tracks are set on the chalet side. Don't forget that on the Valkyrie trail system snowshoeing is allowed on the A and B loops on the left side of the trail.

Teuton trail system (chalet side) are groomed and tracked. Unfortunately, our snowmobile broke down before we could finish grooming the Valkyrie side (north of Highway C). Parts are on order so depending on when they come in and get fixed, we will finish grooming. Please remember that the secondary parking lot on the north side of the road is not plowed and will not be used this year. On the Valkyrie trail system snowshoeing is allowed on the A and B loops on the left side of the trail. Looks like great a weekend for skiing, enjoy the trails!

I classic skied all of the trails on the Teuton side (A,B,C) and they were in great shape. Nice deep classic tracks and the skate deck looked firm and fresh as well. There were occasional soft spots on the outside pole plant, but not very often, and I don't think this would be much an issue for skating. Cold fresh snow made for great kick! Thanks groomers for all the hard work!

The Teuton trail system (chalet side) was groomed and tracks set yesterday and we are out there today working on the Valkyrie trail system (north of County C). Remember to only park on chalet side of the trail system. The chalet and warming shed are open and stocked with wood. Enjoy, this week looks like perfect weather for skiing and enjoying the outdoors!

Valkyrie (north side of the C) was groomed and tracked for A and B loops. The groomer got stuck on C so we will attempt that again maybe on Sunday. Thank you to our great volunteers, the trails are in great shape and it's beautiful out there!

The Teuton Trails (chalet side) are groomed and the A, B, C loops are ready for skiing! Conditions are great. The skating lane is a bit tight due to the amount of snow, we will keep working on widening the trails. It's beautiful out there, should be a great weekend to enjoy all this snow.

The parking lot and chalets are finally plowed and open! We received over 30 inches of snow so we are still in the process of packing down the trails and grooming. Hoping to try and set tracks on a few loops by the weekend so we can enjoy this snow. I will update on Friday the condition of the trails and which loops we were able to set tracks on. We got the main lot cleared of snow today and are working on shoveling out the chalet and other facilities. We are starting to try to pack down trails but with the snow depth. It is going to take a few days to see what works to try and get a flat base. At this time, the trails are not accessible. We will update as soon as we have things more accessible.
