Fresh deck laid and fresh classic tracks on both the ski path and the multi use pathway. Everything looks great. Classic tracks are a little shallow in places, so I'd probably skate if I had the choice. But it won't disappoint either way.

Hiawatha is in great shape! The skate deck was super flat and while the classic tracks were worn (not unexpected) - they didn't seem icy. Nice work groomers!

Hiawatha ski trail is freshened up after all the weekend traffic. The classic track is in decent shape. Grooming plans: Classic track will be reset Monday night.

Thanks so much to the groomer for resetting the classic track after yesterday's wobbly criss crossing! Today it was great, so grateful to have this well tended skiing option so close to home!

The ski trail is groomed with consistent and flat corduroy. The classic track is also reset. The practice area in the driving range has classic tracks for MYSL practice. Should be fast and firm all around.

Better conditions than I expected. Yesterday tracks were very wobbly and criss-crossed: hard to get a rhythm going. Must have been reset today because much easier to keep skis straight and in tracks. Tracks still very shallow and soft, and still some wobbles, but much improved. Thanks groomers!

Skied two loops (classic) at Hiawatha this morning at 8am. Some stretches of track near the end of the loop were good, but for much of the loop (esp first half) the tracks felt okay at best. Lots of shallow and overlapping, criss-crossed tracks — overall, hard to stay in and get a rhythm going. Obviously I know weather conditions recently have been less than ideal and we've gotta work with what's there.

Groomed all ski and multi use trails and cutoffs. Fresh snow is great! Skate deck and classic tracks in prime condition. Please keep dogs on multi use trail only.

Hiawatha is groomed on the ski and multi use trails. Please remember that we groom a separate trail exclusively for our skijorers, hikers and bikers! Grooming plans: We will set a classic track tonight.

I wasn't sure whether it would be worth the effort to come out to Hiawatha today, but I'm glad I did. Conditions were better than I expected. Snow is certainly soft and heavy, but classic tracks were intact and there was good coverage. I messed around a bit on the skate deck and it was pretty sloppy, so I would recommend classic skis until things firm up.
