Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The main loops of the NE were groomed for skate and classic this afternoon. There was a fair amount of ice incorporated into the trail so the skating and classic is fast. The tracks are mostly very good but a little shallow in a few places. The Tony Wise and NE Classic have not been groomed since the thaw/freeze cycle and are glazed with ice.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All the NE trails were groomed today and are in great condition, The recent 3+ inches of snow buried most of the debris that had been accumulating on the trails. The Birkie trails are closed but the NE trails will be open all week.

Thought I'd try to get on snow at least once post injury and pre-Birkie so today was the day. The Cable end of Birkieland got a good 4 inches of light snow last night and this morning. The groomer had just finished up when I got there so the skate deck was super soft. There is a fresh full depth classic track so the classic skiing is better than skating in the short term.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate lane on the main loop was combed out Sunday, the tracks were in very good condition and not redone. The NE Classic trail is also in good condition and The Tony Wise in fair to good. The NE trails will all be open this week and not affected by the closure of the Birke Trail.

Grooming Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received about one inch of light, dry snow yesterday. Today the main loop and the NE Classic were groomed with the skate deck on the main loops turning out quite good but the tracks did not set up well due to the cold and dry snow so they are fragile. The Tony Wise has the inch of new snow on top of the grooming from a few days ago - might be good skiing. We are told the Birkie trails are closed after Monday this coming week but the NE trails will be open.

Excellent conditions on North End Ski Trail for skate skiing. Nice corduroy, looked like it had been just groomed overnight. Think I was the fifth skier since grooming. Do your best to support the North End groomers.

The North End Classic race was this morning. The tracks for the race were taken out and the trail re-groomed late this afternoon, The skate deck is very good and the classic tracks vary from excellent to a little shallow in places. The Tony Wise and NE Classic trails have not been groomed for a few days as our efforts were focused on race preparation so they are a little icy. They will be groomed in the next day or two. Thanks to all the skiers that turned out for the race and made it a success.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Tony Wise was groomed for skate and classic this morning and is in great shape. The main loops were partially groomed, A and B loops, the C loop was not done due to Timber Trail Road being plowed by the town and making it impossible to get grooming equipment across until we dig through the berms. The C loop can still be skied but expect to take your skis off and walk across Timber Trail Rd. at both crossings. The NE Classic is in good condition from recent grooming.
