Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trail conditions due to weather have deteriorated the trail to the point it cannot be groomed properly until we receive more snow. Please be patient as the weather has made it a tough year for grooming.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Tracks were just deep enough for good skiing, but the snow was wet and quite slow. The Wintergreen trail is a great ski area, but it suffers from low use.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
I am happy to report that Wintergreen trails have been groomed. Track has been set on A and B loops, D loop is open but no track as it is very hilly. C loop remains ungroomed due to water issues. The warming shelter is open, the wood box is full, enjoy!

Morning
Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Grooming continues to be an issue with the wet heavy snow/ debris. Hoping that this current batch of white stuff allows us to cover all of the pine needles and other fine debris knocked down over the last few weeks. My plan is to pack tomorrow and have the trails groomed Friday. C loop continues to be ungroomed due to it's wet condition. The warming shelter will be opened this week, we will ensure the wood stove is operational and the wood box is full. Thank you for your patience and we will continue to do our best to support your outdoor recreation.

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails: Closed, Good skis ]
Grooming crews were hard at work on Monday clearing the trail system of many downed trees from last week's heavy snow event. Most of the loops have been cleared but a track has not been set. Forest Service crews have many different trail systems to clear of downed trees yet this week. Prediction is a groomed track will not be set until after the holiday season.
