Official grooming report from Thanksgiving day:
If you would like to give thanks by spending a little time on the ski trail, that can happen. I'm grateful that we have sponsors, members and volunteers who care enough about our trail system to support us. I'm grateful that we have one of the best ski trail systems in Minnesota.
I'm thankful that we received 2-3" of snow from this last system. East and West Overlook, Snowmen, Lynn's Loop, North Advanced and Canyon Curves have all been rolled and combed. The trails are wind-scoured so there are areas of bare ice. We were not able to set classic track because the previous tracks are frozen in hard and we don't have enough snow to work with yet.
I'm thankful that I can enjoy the trails on Thanksgiving. All of you and your families have a happy one.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial ]
We received 4 to 8 inches of new snow with this past storm. We will be opening trails as we are able. There should be some good skiing this weekend. The following trails are tracked and combed for both classic and skate skiing: West Overlook, Upper and Lower Snowmen and Lynn's Loop. North Advanced Trail will be opened in a few days. The skate deck will not be smooth this early in the season, and warm temps and sunshine will break down classic tracks. But we're skiing before Thanksgiving, so enjoy some time on the trail.
