Trail Reports

2019-2020 season
Reports 12 to 21 of 24    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec | Nov

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Excellent skiing, both classic and skate. Got about 1" of fresh snow this morning. Groomer ran over about half the trails by 2:00 pm. Those trails are perfect, with deep tracks and a firm if somewhat uneven skate deck. Today's ungroomed trails are still very good for classic, good for skate. Very fast. A group of 6 graders were on the trails and doing well. Some were just flying on the new snow, despite what looked like pretty crude technique.

The trails are in fantastic shape both classic and skating with perfect temperatures. The only way the skiing could be any better would be if they could set trails so you were always skiing downhill.

Trails are groomed and temperatures are great! The trails are all groomed and have great tracks set for classic and skate skiing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails are mostly open and almost all are groomed for both classic and skate skiing. Snow conditions are currently quite sticky due to higher temperature which makes it difficult for a nice "glide" but trails are still ski-able.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Trails are still covered and some have been groomed for both classic and skate skiing (around 1/3 of the trails are currently groomed). Snow is wet and sticky due to temperatures but even the ungroomed trails are open for skiing. You will have to blaze your own tracks through some of the further out trails.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails were packed on Thursday with 3 inches of snow in most areas, some patches of grass or rocks showing, but was able to ski on all of them. Plan to groom after the next snowfall. Ski rental will be open Saturday. We will be working on grooming all of our trails through Monday. Not all of our trails will be groomed right away.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Ski trails are not groomed but there is enough snow to ski, just not with your best skis. There is a layer of ice under a lot of the snow.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
The snow we have received is not enough to allow for proper grooming. Only 1.25" of snow was reported so in some places grass can still be seen poking through. Not suitable for good skiing.

The trails do not have enough snow for grooming despite the recent snowfall.
