Not groomed and a mess. Groomer left in middle of trail for several days. Apparently broken down. Several self broken trails.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Packed the trails with the snowmobile and then attempted to start grooming when the snowmobile broke down. We were able to get the snowmobile out of the woods and to the repair shop but the drag was left on the trail.

Drove out to Wolf Lake hoping there had been grooming since the snow earlier this week. Did not look like any grooming since January 10th. We were able to still ski in some of the tracks that were there, but on some of the trails the tracks were buried, had disappeared. The good news was hardly any leaves! Skiing back to unplowed parking lot, we saw fresh snowshoe tracks on the classic tracks, but didn't see the person out there, car in parking lot. Hopefully they will be out there soon to groom after all this fresh new snow.

Sharon and I skied Overlook and Shelter Trails. One inch of new snow covered all the leaves and debris. Another skier skied the trails before us and made for a faster track. Great skiing!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails have been groomed once again. Lots of oak leaves scattered throughout the trails and tracks. There is also lots of deer activity on the trails making them really rough in some areas.

Trails were groomed today. With the crusty snow the tracks are not perfect but decent. I had skins on from my classic skis and they glided over the few leaved that were present. Thanks Tom (the new county groomer) for grooming Wolf today.

Trails have not been groomed since the last snow/freezing rain events. There are lots of animal tracks on the trails and poles were getting stuck in the crusty snow.

The trails are surprisingly good given the weekend warm-up. That said, there are a number of icy spots and a lot of oak leaves and debris on sections of the track. Just be aware and careful. Also, someone decided to skate on the shelter loop, which didn't help the quality of the track -- Wolf Lake is classic ski only. It might help to have a sign at the entrance.

Skied the trails again today. Not too much to report since no new snow since last week and no need to groom. With lack of new snow, the oak leaves are more present in spots where the oaks grow. Still very good out there.
