Trail Detail
Notes
In spite of being located in rugged terrain, the trail is suitable for skiers of moderate ability. Only the 8.6 Km loop has climbs and down hills that demand intermediate skiing ability.Trail Reports

Observation [ Trails Open: Partial, ]

We started working at Penokee this week to clear trees and brush from the December storm. The 3 Km and 5 Km loops are cleared and packed. We did not set tracks yet. There are a couple places where springs have melted the snow, and it's hasn't froze yet. Penokee is open to snowshoeing, skiing, and dogs are allowed on the trail.

Penokee has received several feet of snow. We won't be able to clear or groom the trail until after the New Year. There are trees and brush to clear.
