We weren't able to do anything on Manka since before Christmas due to mechanical problems. There was some drifting on the west side during the big storm, but everything groomed out nicely. Plenty of use on the trail despite the lack of maintenance. The hardy skiers will appreciate a combed deck and new tracks!

It was a brisk afternoon on the Manka with a couple inches new snow. The deck has firmed up and tracks are set for anyone willing to brave the cold days ahead.

11" heavy wet snow packed and groomed. The skate lane is soft but should firm up overnight. Track looked good! Surprisingly few branches down with the heavy snow.

The base held up well through the warm up and we got 3" snow this week. Skate deck is getting smoother with each snowfall. Tracks are set and good skis are good to go.

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Another 3" snow over last few days. We groomed and actually set a track. Skate lane is fully covered and starting to even out. A little bit of grass is showing in the tracks but no turf or rocks, so B skis are recommended for now.

With 6" of loose snow in the last week we were able pack and drag with the Tidd. The result is a bumpy skate deck and no tracks set. With no frost in the ground it will take a day or two to set up, but should freeze down nicely. We're underway!
