Groomed up to the north Soumi parking lot. Trouble with the track setter so I couldn’t lift the track in the normal spots. Fixed for next time.

Groomed Amen north around big horn lake. Nice day to be out grooming and better yet skiing. Should be good skiing.

Classic Ski on Amen Lake Trails and a loop on South Suomi. Most trails were well packed with well used but still very solid classic tracks. Warmer temps made for fast conditions. A couple of connector trails hadn't been groomed for awhile with 3 inches of snow on the pole track. Skier packed snow in set tracks was still fairly good skiing. A very few spots of dirt showing thru in places in the tracks, easily avoidable. Lots of snow plowing on the steep downhills, always makes me a little nervous that rocks and dirt might not be obvious. Leave your best skis home.
