Skied the Championship Loop, pretty nice with a few rough spots, otherwise excellent. Skied from Hwy D through school forest, crossed Harper Drive, and skied green loop to Hwy C parking lot. The beginner loop is closed for logging as well as the west half of the green loop. Sign says will reopen January 15th. Green loop good for classic and skating.

The trail from Thums parking lot was groomed and tracked on the loop south of Cty D. I intended to ski on Camp Forest Springs but the connector trail wasn't even rolled so I crossed Harper Ave and skied on more perfectly groomed tracks to the maintenance trail cut off. It was groomed further but alas I was cold, tired, and out of daylight. I reversed my direction and thought I'd cut over at the cabin but it wasn't groomed. Maybe some trees were down? Bravo to all of the workers that cleared and maintained the trail, especially the groomer. My favorite trail within 1 1/2 hour drive.
