What a great way to start the new year. All trails had been freshly groomed yesterday after we received about 8” of new snow. Temperatures at 9:00 am were around 10 degrees and had warmed up to about 15 degrees by the time l left two hours later. I skied the entire red loop out and back from the parking lot and then when out and back on the green loop. The only sketchy part was at the bottom of the big hill on the first red loop cut off. It is very narrow and with ice on the sides of the trail. With the cold temperatures, the track was a little slower than I would have liked but control was very good. The groomer had everything meticulously groomed except the two hills on the return section of the green loop which I would have preferred if they had been dragged instead of tracked. All in all, it was an outstanding morning of skiing.

We received 7+" of snow and all the trails have been groomed and are in good condition. Some of the tracks were soft when I left, but should be setting up nicely in these temps. With the heavy, wet snow, there are some leaning trees and branches into the trails, so skiers beware!

Freshly groomed and tracked and fun, classic only. Oak leaves continue to drop in some areas. We skied the outer (red) trail. The trails aren't marked for difficulty. The first red-only segment has one "more difficult" down and up, the rest of the loop I would rate rolling and easy except for one more difficult hill near the end, just before returning to the 2-way segment to the parking lot.

We have received over 42 inches of snow this year already. It is a winter wonderland (skiland) in our area. The trails were well groomed with a great deep track . There was 2 inches of fluffy snow on the trail from last night. Intermediate trails with no scary downhills. Nice shelter with firewood available. About 15 km if you ski all the loops, outside red loop is 8.35 km.
