Notes

The trail is about 8km long and traverses a bridge and two boardwalks. It traverses wetlands, woodlands, and crosses a stream in flat to gently rolling easy terrain. There is a parking lot for skiers at the north end of the trail on Sundstein Road.

Rolled and combed about 3" of very dry, powdery snow. Coverage is complete but quite thin. No tracks set. We'll need at least 4" of fairly dense snow before tracks can be set.

Firsthand: Classic

Fair, very early season conditions. Started on west end with skied in track for about 2 kg and I finished it to the bridge. The trail has 2-4 inches on snow on crushed rock base with lots of hikers footprints and few pesky oak leaves. Most of the trail has adequate coverage, there are bare spots here and there, but very skiable. Kick and Glide - I love that feeling, was a treat in be skiing this early in November.
