Winter wonderland out there. Jon and Terry (I’m guessing from previous posts) had just finished grooming and tracking. First ones on trail. Slow but perfect. Track Goes to no. 9 marker and circles back. West side wasn’t tracked yet.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The first 3 loops from the parking lot were packed and groomed this morning. About 8 km of track set. Track depth is over 6” so good skis are good to go. There were so many branches down that a few smaller pieces might have gotten groomed in but should easily be avoided if they were not totally covered. It’s a winter wonderland out there.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Jon and I groomed the west side of Goose Lake Trail today. The whole trail system is open now with 16km of classics tracks set. Snow coverage is very good so no problem with using good skis. Great early snow conditions so get out and enjoy the skiing up Lake Country.
