Morning
Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
What a sad morning to wake up and see all the hard work Greg did is gone. For a few days there really seems like we had a ski park! Just wanted to say thank you to Greg and hope for more snow! Remember to drop off a donation for him if you didn't :).

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skate base is softening with sunshine. Classic skiers were still moving along, setting there own trails. Bikers trail was getting softer, but still moving. Hoping for no rain, if it does, check with trail report. Thank you all for your patience.

Trails open, please use discretion, thank you. Sun will be out today. Bike trails should be ok. You will find some gravel showing thru. Best times are early morning and evening.

[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
All trails will close tonight until further notice. Due to warm weather and possible rain, the trails including fat tire bikes will be shutdown late afternoon today. If we don't close, the trails will be no good and if it snows again we will be able to get them open sooner. If we destroy them now, we may not be able to reopen down the road. Thank you for your understanding!

Great skating conditions. Even though air temp was above freezing, snow temp remained low with no transformation. Three spots with gravel mixed in with snow.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied in the early morning, as it was getting light. What a great little resource for a mid-week workout for those of us living in the Fox Cities without having to travel an hour or more in each direction. Used B skis, but had no issues with coverage. Trail was good for skating. Kudos and a huge thank you to Greg for all of the work and effort he puts in to provide this option for skiing right in the heart of our communities! Be sure to thank him and leave a donation! He's doing this all at his initiative and expense.

Skate trails are rolled and combed. Our trails for Fat Tire Bikes are compacted today. Classic trails can be made any place, if you use skate trails, please stay along right or left side. Our overall distance on skate trails is less, due to Mother Nature.
