Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Classic skiing was good. Some dirt and debris close to parking lot. Best trail was Sunset Rip at sunset. Well worth the trip, just be alert on downhills -- the world needs more alerts anyway. I would recommend soft flex skis if skating.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Late morning ski was great! Snow covered most vegetation and soil, except in set tracks under fir trees, etc. Due to broken groomer, some trails not groomed since last snowfall, but skiable.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied most of the open trails, the outer loop (not Atomic Drop of Stairway to Heaven). The rest is likely the best I've seen so far this year! A bit thin in spots (where the ground comes up) but good coverage, a few inches thick base. A rock or two poked up going up Thunder, and some herbaceous debris in other spots. Pretty smooth for early season skiing!
