Biskey was beautifully groomed with firm tracks and we had them to ourselves! We saw a golden eagle while on the short new trail. We skied Wolf Run and Eagle Ridge today. There were quite a few doggy prints on the Wolf Run, but that did not cause any issues for us. Use caution though when you turn off of Wolf Run and onto Eagle Ridge as the tracks were wiped out by skiers and one of the people in our group went too fast and ended up in the really deep snow and needed help getting out! Well worth the drive there to ski!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I finished compacting and tracking all the trails at 1 pm today. This should firm up the trail well although with all the snow this year there may be some bottomless pole plants.

It was a nice day for a ski in Biskey. It was really windy out, but the only place we caught it was up on Eagle Ridge. The trails through the woods were well protected and very nice. The grooming was done well, but there is a lot of micro debris (pine needles, small twigs). We simply need a couple more inches of snow to cover it all up. Because of that, I would use your B skis.

We had a great "new decade" ski today at Biskey! The tracks were fast, not a bit. icy and very firm! There was some natural debris in some of the tracks from all the wind we have had, but it wasn't bad. Well worth the drive from anywhere to ski there!

After last weekend's wet snow and rain, we received a little bit of fresh snow yesterday. Today, the groomer went around the entire system twice and some portions three times. Conditions should be pretty good.

Biskey is so peaceful that it is always a treat to venture out that way! The trails had evidence of many skiers prior to us, yet the tracks were still 99% in tact and the debris was minimal in the them. Put Biskey on your bucket list if you have yet to try it! Thank you volunteers for grooming out there!

[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Great day out there. Truly recommend rock or older B skis. No grooming yet, so no set track. Few skiers out there (like 3-5 people total) and some walkers. Slush in some of the low spots and nobody has broken trail yet on Black Spruce. Looking forward to additional snow to provide more skiable areas and enable grooming.
