Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The park received 16" of snow over the last two days. Packed mid storm yesterday and today groomed Meadow, Pipeline, and Red Granite Loops. Meadow and Pipeline are in excellent condition, groomed for stride and skate, both with double set of tracks as much as possible. Red Granite is in good condition and is shared with hikers/snowshoers, fat bikers, and skate ski users. A short kiddie loop was also groomed and tracked at the ballfield. Happy skiing and good luck Birkie skiers!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Conditions are very good for only receiving about 19" so far this season, 3-5" base and firm conditions in most places. Skate deck is good to very good on Meadow and Pipeline Loops. Classic track is moderate to full depth on Meadow and Pipeline West, with no debris except where it crosses Red Granite. Classic track on Pipeline East is fair to moderate, with hills being more fair and some grass poking through, only about 20ft combined of actual debris just before Vahtera. Did not get to classic trails Vahtera or Takesson; and Red Granite multi loop was last groomed Monday. Happy skiing!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The park received about 7" of new snowfall over the weekend. Today we rolled and groomed Meadow, Pipeline West, and Pipeline East; and rolled Red Granite. The Meadow and Pipeline West are in good condition. Pipeline East is in fair condition. Red Granite will be really soft. Tried to set track on the Meadow but the track setter broke near the beginning and was too late for repairs. Grooming plans: Will try tracks again for Friday. Classic-only trails Vahtera and Takesson have about 8 inches fresh powder right now.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Rolled the Meadow with the UTV. Hardly any snow added. The better spot to ski will be the first little loop about 2 acres in size, this is the firmest part of the whole trail. Another okay spot will be the straight-away along Hwy 169. Otherwise grass poking through in spots.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Groomed up a skate deck on the 2 acre area of the Meadow (short first loop). It set up pretty good but then some folks decided to hike it sometime between then and 5pm, so now there are small ruts. Two inch base in most spots of this short loop.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Overall conditions are very poor. Rock skis are recommended if venturing out. Over the weekend the park received 6-8 inches of very dry snow, our first measurable snowfall of the season. Today staff rolled the Meadow Loop and the Pipeline Loop. Snowfall was thinner the further north we went. Conditions were better in the Meadow but very soft and thin with about a 2 inch base in places. Grooming plans: We won't do anymore trail preparation until we get another big snowfall. It is simply too thin or soft to productively groom at this point.
