Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Today the volunteer groomer team rolled and combed the meadow and pipeline trails (no classic track). There is still some small storm debris on the trails, so pitch in if you can. Red granite is hikers/snowshoers only at this time due to storm debris. We will finish the rest of the trail system soon (Vahterra and Takesson).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed Meadow Loops and Pipeline Loop this evening. Meadow is excellent, groomed for skate and classic. Pipeline is excellent, groomed for skate, super nice and smooth...should be fun! Vahtera was last tracked Saturday, now with 3-5" of new fluffy snowfall on top. Staff and volunteers are still removing debris on Takesson and Red Granite Loops.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The Pipeline and Vahtera Loops have solid bases, nice deep classic tracks and a smooth skate lane. The light dusting of snow early this morning made for a great ski.

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Today we groomed and tracked meadow, pipeline and vahtera. Meadow loops are in excellent condition, groomed for skate and classic. Pipeline loop is in fair to good condition, groomed for skate and classic. Vahtera loops are in fair to good condition, tracked for classic. Red granite is hikers/snowshoers only at this time and takesson remains closed due to storm debris. Thank you to the friends of copper falls sp volunteers for two solid days of trail clearing, removing dozens of downed trees and hundreds of branches in the trails that were affected by 18 inches of heavy wet snow this week.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Groomed Meadow Loops and Pipeline West today, both are in fair to good condition. Meadow has a good skate deck and fair tracks. Pipeline West is in good condition for skate, accessible from Ballfield Lot or Red Granite Lot. Both trails are about 1 mile in length. We need more snowfall to open rest of the trails, hoping for later next week.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The park received 4 inches of new snowfall, bringing us to a total of 13 inches so far. This latest snowfall will likely take some time to firm up. Grooming Plan: On Friday we'll roll the Meadow Loops and parts of the Pipeline Loop. More snow is forecasted, so grooming might hold off until Sunday or Monday.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Best conditions were found on Meadow for skate/classic and Pipeline West for skate. Groomed the Meadow Loops and was able to set a shallow track. There is some grass poking through in spots. Combed Pipeline West, although the new trail reroute is still rough, recommendation is to use the old section going through the North Camp; that groomed up nicer. Red Granite is only rolled with waterbars still poking through. A short 1 mile section of Pipeline East was groomed near the Ballfield but it's still a disconnected loop. Not enough snow yet to open up the big hills. Vahtera short was packed only. Given the forecast, this will likely be the only grooming for a week or so.
