Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail held up pretty well. No animal damage and only one spot where someone had walked the nature trail and did some damage. Not too much debris...yet! A few spots very thin: near the trail head at amphitheatre, and where the trail parallels the lake. Take advantage of the mild temperatures and enjoy the trail. You'll be treated to some impressive wave sights and sounds!

I had a very lovely ski. They have set the track - hooray! Took me just about an hour to do the loop three times... Conditions so nice I did not want to stop. Lovely little trail for those (like me) who don't want a long drive, and want to avoid the risk of a broken bone! The trail is gently rolling and perfect for all forms of classic technique. Get out there today! ( Before the deer and the ill-informed weekend hikers muck up the trail). Plenty of sunshine vitamin D and no mask required :).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
First trail grooming of the season took place Tuesday, once the snow stopped. Tracks were set to full depth. Some blowing snow in open areas may obscure the tracks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Total snowfall for 2021 has been 3" - 5" over two different dates. The trails have not been groomed. Trails are mostly snow covered, with a few bare spots in the wooded areas. A classic trail has been established by skiers. Conditions are good to fair. There is very little base. We are waiting for a bit more snow before any formal grooming attempts.
