Icy conditions at 8 am, should improve as temp increases. The trail grooming has been condensed to about 2.5 km. No debris or frozen puddles.

Outbound Willow and all of Frogtown were groomed and in good to very good condition. It was frozen corduroy transitioning to soft corn depending on sun exposure at my 8:40 start. It was right around 40, sunny and windy. I used FastWax Yellow LF topped with fluoro paste. My first loop included skiing to the bottom of Boulder but conditions were awful after Frogtown. There was a large bare spot coming down off of Scenic. But Frogtown was great. Unfortunately, I am sure this it. Thanks to Three Rivers groomers for a great season.

Shockingly amazing conditions despite overnight temps in the 40s! Rocket ship fast corduroy at 7:45 for skating pleasure! Thanks to the Hyland tram for giving us so much outdoor fun this season!

Snowmaking loop was nearly perfect. Just a little ice on the final return to the trailhead. There was moderate churned-up corn on uphills but nothing to slow you down too bad. Even the Boulder Ridge climb's churned-up corn was not too deep. Absolutely no bare spots with my 8:30 start. It was high 30's, sunny with a south wind that slowed me coming down off Scenic a little. I used FastWax Yellow LF buffed with fluoro paste. Lots of skiers enjoying some great skiing Saturday. There were at least a dozen of us skating the last climb on the return to the top of Scenic at the same time. My second fastest skate of the season.

The snowmaking loop is still kicking and in great shape. Some dirty spots throughout but still full coverage. Boulder Ridge downhill was in amazing shape as of 8am. Playground loop is getting pretty icy. Lots of people out enjoying what's left of the season. Thanks to the groomers for working their magic and keeping us on snow!

Groom it and they will come. Artificial trail holding up nicely. Crowded! A few leaves and the playground trail is icy in some areas.

Much better than last night, when it had gotten dirty and rutty. Freshly groomed and below freezing conditions made for great conditions. Quite a few skiers were out. March madness continues.

Wow! Skied four mornings at Hyland this past week between 8 and 10. Skied classic on skin skis and trails were rippin fast fun and at the same time safe. Hyland does an immaculate job of grooming, even this late in the season. Spring skiing is the best! Thanks Hyland for keeping alot of skiers grinning - Big time fun! All the surrounding grounds were brown and the 5k man made was like January conditions. So fun!

What a day on the trail! I got there about 9:30AM and I found the skate deck to be firm and fast. Thank you Hyland groomers for a great season.

Unbelievably fantastic conditions. Softening by 9am. Thank you, thank you, thank you groomers for extending the season. Tomorrow should be good, too.
