Wonderful fast conditions. Tracks in fabulous shape throughout the park. It's so fun to ski all the natural trails this year. Thanks to the fantastic grooming crew at Hyland.

Skated the manmade and natural trails. Beautiful sunny day. The trails I would say were in good condition, although much icier than I expected in general. I could still get an edge everywhere but felt a little less control in many places than I'd prefer. Reasonably fast though.

Epic conditions on all trails - natural and man made snow - nice and fast with plenty of edging and not too icy. Great for skating and perfect classic tracks. Favorite ski of the season at Hyland!

Skied a loop from the visitor center to the nature center and back. The manmade snow was in excellent condition as per usual. The natural trails were decent but a little crusty. Things loosened up some as the temperature rose this afternoon. Hardly anyone out there. Great ski.

Classic skied all the natural snow loops a few times and was delighted that the classic tracks were in great shape! Most of the tracks were deep and well set and clean, only the Lake loop had leaves in the tracks, but pretty minimal. As always, the manufactured snow loops had deep, rock hard tracks. Skate lanes in good condition too. Should be a great weekend to get out for a ski!

Skied all the man-made trail at Hyland and the Lake/Hill loop (did both the Hill and normal Lake loop). Trails were fantastic. A couple of soft spots on the climbs but overall very firm deck and an absolute pleasure to ski.

The snow was a little slow but the groomers at Hyland did the best they could. Classic tracks were generally great even on the natural snow trails: Hill, Oak Knob, Nature Loop.

Another warmer day and yet again the groomers at Hyland achieved absolutely fantastic grooming, I can't thank them enough. Skied the manmade snow loop and all the trails were fantastic, and did the Lake Loop and it was very skiable with minimal debris. Had no issues doing the loop on my good skis.

Skied Frog Town then the North loop and through Scenic Foothills back to the visitor center over the lunch hour. The 5K snowmaking loops are holding up well after yesterday's rain with firm enough tracks still set and the skate deck was also in good shape. The natural snow trails were a different story and the rain really did a number on the snowpack. Tracks are still well set but the snow is extremely soft in most places. I'm fairly light (<150 lbs) and sunk noticeably in many places. The skate deck was also very uneven in several places on the North loop. For classic I'd recommend wax or fishscale grip zone skis, my skins were pretty soaked afterwards. Overall I continue to be very impressed with the grooming crew at Hyland, kudos to them for maintaining great trails!
