All trails including Razorback were expertly rolled and packed today by TRP groomers using the Tucker snowcat. Full coverage, 10" + inches of fresh snow was rolled "curb to curb". Quite frankly - this was one of the best jobs of rolling that I've seen in some time at Murphy. Very impressive work with the snowcat.

Went out this morning and enjoyed a couple of loops around the system -- what I find to be some of the most fun and challenging terrain in the Twin Cities for skiing. Plenty of snow coverage. Appears last groomed before Sunday's light snow fall. Skating deck was largely pretty good. As previous posts have indicated, there are a few places that are uneven or bumpy, especially on the hills. And some of the downhills are sculpted from snow plowing for control. But while it's not perfect, it's plenty fun right now.

All trails are open - I only skied a few of the trails. Skipped part of the razorback - hit other sections of that same trail. I'd give the trail condition of a C. There were areas that look like where the snow mobile dug in and created some deep ruts. It would be great if they groomed again. There were more people walking on the ski trail this morning than skiing.

Classic skied 10K outer loop (Razorback). I believe the last time I was able to ski the trail with sufficient snow coverage was 2014. Trail groomed and tracked with about one-fourth inch new snow on top from yesterday flurries. Classic track set very close to outer right edge in many parts. Suggest wearing eyewear protection as there are a lot of small branches/twigs sticking out that might wack you. Also suggest getting out of the track into skate lane on many of the downhills to avoid crashing into trees on edge. Classic track okay in some sections but jagged in other sections, especially around corners Skate lane uneven (bowls) on quite a few of the hills. I believe this is from trail erosion from rainstorms during non-winter months, which I saw when I hiked the trail in the fall. Great to be out skiing at the Murph again!

Great coverage. The snow is fluffy but the blue loops are pretty well packed down. There were a few sections where the skate track is uneven, but they were actively grooming today and had a lot of those parts sorted out by midday. The classic tracks looked fantastic. Razorback is open but pretty rough -- no classic tracks and very soft and uneven. It'll need a lot more attention before it's really skateable.

Knob and kettle great. Razorback a dud. It was rolled but had ridges and was soft, needs more grooming. What a treat in the woods with so much good snow. If you never have gone there, go...go...go.

Coverage on the trail seemed really good under the 3" to 4" of new snow this morning. The skate deck was a little soft, but more firm than expected given how recently it was packed. Razorback trail was closed but you can still find plenty of pain without it if you want it. No classic tracks were set.
