The groomers did a great job with the last snowfall, and the deck was in really good condition. I skated all the trails - golf course, skijor, and park, and they all had good coverage with no bare spots and only a few very minor icy spots. It was snowing fairly hard by late morning, so the corduroy was getting covered again but still easily skiable. Very enjoyable. The tracks looked good as well.

There are 3-4 inches of powder snow on the trails this morning. You can skate, but you are breaking in the trail.

The park website notes that the park and skijor were groomed on Wednesday, but there is 3-4" of fresh snow on top of an icy and uneven deck on all the trails. It's skiable, but don't expect to set any speed records. A few people had gone through on classic skis, so there are some manmade tracks on all the trails.

Beautiful day to get maybe one of my last weekend ski sessions in! Classic tracks were holding up pretty good, although definitely hit patches of ice here and there. As a beginner had some trouble staying in the tracks coming from steep hills into turns because the tracks were not stiff, but no major concerns. Started to slow down midday as temps warmed. Skate deck looked alright but had heavy marks on uphills and high traffic areas from the melt. Only experienced one area of no track on the connector from purple to green, where there's often a bare patch.

I visited Bunker Hills for the first time for some night skiing. Using classical technique on my old school "Kwik step" skis made in Finland and trusty headlight, I sampled both the orange and green loops. Classic tracks were set in both areas. Snow conditions were a bit challenging for me as a new skier; a combination of good areas, slushy areas, and icy ones. Overall a great work-out. My sincere thanks to the groomers. It was fantastic to experience the natural beauty of the area; moon and stars were out, and I even saw two deer.

Skated at Bunker yesterday when it was snowing, as the groomer was out around 10am. It was slow and soft, but they were taking multiple passes through the park and eventually the golf course. Checked again today, and It looked like they also did the golf course, but did not appear as though they set new classic tracks.

Trails aren't groomed for skate or classic at the moment but there's good snow coverage. Was really tough as a beginner learning classic but some skate skiers seemed to be having a decent time. Bummer since it's been a beautiful weekend and one of our last big snow storms for this winter.

No grooming done - no trails set - had to break trail. Great day to get out and ski - had a great time.
