Excellent conditions, still very little leaf litter, no icy crustiness. Only saw three other skiers. Overall very nice day.

Skated the golf course on a beautiful day with picturesque conditions. Classic tracks looked to be in great shape. The skate deck is just okay at best as it is still very soft in places and not well packed down. There is a middle section of the deck that is pretty firm, but the edges are very soft. Overall I felt my poles were punching though the top layer around 40% of the time and any hard push off felt like you were sinking in. Some sections are worse than others. Was no problem if you skied really easy. Thankfully it was a beautiful day and great to see a lot of people out.

Skied green loop and south half of skijour trail. The classic tracks are in excellent shape. Packed nicely with very little debris. The skate deck was well used which really helped. Unskied edges of the trail were still soft in places. Overall wonderful conditions and the scenery is as good as it gets with all the snow still sticking to the trees.

Trails in great condition. Tracks are well groomed. Minimum amount of tree debris on trails. Skied purple and orange trails.

Orange and purple loops quite soft, but understand that it was a lot of snow to groom out. Groomer passes not meshed seamlessly in places, leaving some troughs and ridges in the skate deck. Gorgeous winter scene.

Skated the blue and orange loops. A little soft, probably too much snow at once to pack into a consolidated base. Stunning blue skies and snow in the trees.

With the snow and excellent groomers, trails are in excellent condition. Groomers did their thing yesterday afternoon but despite much signage, hikers and dog walkers continue to chew up the skate deck. Same with the deer herd, escaping the deep snow. Skating was a bit of a challenge, but after switching to classic, noticed that the tracks are probably the best they've been in all the years I've skied the park. Excellent time to visit this beautiful and well-cared-for jewel.

Fresh groom. Powdery. Beautiful. Great night to be out. Skied from the campground welcome center around the blue loop. It is a bit soft. And there were a couple spots where walker crossings messed up the track, but it was really nice overall.

Skijoring trails were in great condition. Hardly any leaf cover to slow you down. Tracks were set in pretty nicely for classic. Right most track was usable the entire way and the left track faded away a few times. Good snow cover the entire way.

Skated a few laps on the golf course for an easy new years day ski. Skate deck had a little crust on it and was pretty fast. It's also pretty rough with a lot of ruts, foot prints and a number of uneven sections. Tree debris is worse than earlier in the week and a few sections are downright dirty at this point. Not the greatest, but okay. On the positive side, tracks had been set on the golf course and they were in really good shape.
