Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Not too shabby. Some dirty spots but mostly skiable. I did lake and nature. Talked to another skier who skied all trails. Further from trail head the better.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
With all the warm I was pleasantly surprised at how good the skiing was on Sky and Lake. A few dirt spots on Sky but was able to ski around them.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied all the trails. Mostly good conditions but there were a bunch of small patches of bare ground that were quickly growing due to the sun and warm temperatures. I would recommend B skis for now because of the bare spots and a fair amount of debris.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Started around 10am. Skated. The snow was fantastic. They did a great job of grooming as it was getting hard and icy just a few days ago. Sky and Lake. Very fun.

Grimm Farm ranged from fair along the lake - lots of snert - to very good the rest of trail. Sugar Bush to intersection with King was good and King was very good. It was 23 degrees and sunny. I used FastWax Red HF. Finally no significant leaf litter. Other than slowing to walk on the longer hills I skied Grimm pretty quick for me. Rested back and the parking lot before doing King. As usual, the long climbs slowed me down on it.

Afternoon

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skated. The track was great. Just a very few rough spots that really didn't affect skiing. Skied the lake and sky trail. This early in the season you are always going to have some leaves but it did not bother my glide at all. Fantastic outing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Skated Grimm Farm Trail and King Trail. Friend classiced same. Really good natural snow early season conditions. I am told it was ideal for classic today while I struggled a bit skating on the King trail due to some uneven spots and some grass poking through. Very much worth the trip out especially if you like being out in the country!

Night
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Lake, Sky and Sugarbush are all in fair to poor condition, very ski-able but lots of debris and a few icy spots. First 1km of Grimm is quite poor, with lots of grass and gravel in places, but the open areas on Grimm after that are great shape, groomed firm and full width. Nature Center trail from lake to the road crossing was in excellent shape, no issues other than one grass spot in the middle. Heavy machinery combined with a wet summer resulted in the trails near the rental building being completely torn up and flooded, which has now frozen into a rutted, icy mess.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Sugarbush, Sky and Lake are all open and in poor condition. Trails had been rolled and were quite soft. Nature Center and Grimm looked rolled but were marked as closed. There are sections that are good but there are a lot of sections of ice/slush where water has run under the trail. On rock skis I found it slow but navigable.
