Overall good with lots of snow. Groomers were working hard to get the trails going. Some unevenness and deep spots but overall good. Classic tracks looked good too. Get out there and enjoy.

classic skied Grimm after trying skate ski: no tracks, no deck set yet. Deep snow. Still skied and it was lovely and very challenging.

Trails are in great shape after this week's rain. Skate deck was pliable in the midafternoon sun, and quite fast. There are a few spots (mostly in open flat areas) that are still pretty firm, but nothing that is fully boilerplate. East half of natural center trail was a bit icier and dirtier than the rest, might be worth skipping. Unfortunately classic tracks looked pretty thin and icy for the most part.

Skated two laps of Grimm Farm and one lap down by the lake. Classic tracks are definitely poor, but otherwise very skateable, even for a newbie like me! Yes, it's fairly hard-packed in some areas but you can get a decent edge on probably 85-90%, and the areas that were hard ice I was just coasting anyway! Bottom line: don't let the trail condition keep you from skiing today!

Beautiful day and super fast and fun if you don't mind icy tracks about 50% of which were twice the normal width from melt/refreeze cycling. I did 1.5 loops averaging 12.5 K/hour on Grimm Farm with about 90% double polling on waxless skis which is super fast for me. Then 2 loops of Kind plus Lake, Sky and Sugerbush. The big King straight downhill was a screamer but be careful on the winding downhill at the end because only a narrow path is groomed and the rest is icy. Believe it or not I found skating with my waxless the fastest on parts of King.

Skated the Sky, Lake, and Sugar Bush trails. The trails were in pretty good condition; they were fast as you might expect, with a firm hard underlayer and a softer or icier overlayer depending on the section. Everywhere there was enough loose snow to get an edge, although the trails were hard enough to dissuade me from trying out the King trail with its last zigzag downhill. The tracks looked fair overall. They were defined but often shallow, and washed out around many corners. There was at least one spot where the track had melted through to bare ground.

Trails in great condition. A little soft due to warmer temperatures, but still fabulous. Tracks were excellent for classic. Can't beet blue bird sky and 31 degrees.

Skated King and Grimm trails. Perfect day for skiing. The trails were in the best shape I've seen them this season. Not too much leaf litter, nice consistency.

Brrrrrr. Good day to test out your cold weather gear and wax. I had Rex blue which was fine as long as I kept my skis moving. Up the hills the skis stopped sliding. In the track they were good. Warm skin kept everything toasty except my toes. Saw only one other skier so might be a good idea to bring a cell phone. Skied the Grimm and King. Grooming appeared to have been done yesterday.

Trail was groomed after the snow. Very good skating. It was a little soft from the fresh snow. Some drifting on the trail but only a factor in exposed areas. Tracks were OK. Sometimes filled with drifting snow.
