Busy day on the trails, with tracks holding up quite well. Some hiking traffic and oak leaves, but overall really nice. Happy New Year!

Freshly groomed classic tracks set today. Firm, a bit of ice but overall very nice. Oak leaves not yet filling the tracks. Beautiful day in the woods!

Lots of oak leaves! Exposed asphalt in northeast corner of the outer trail and on the downhill segment through the prairie area. Trails in woodlands with less sun exposure were better.

Winter wonderland, old style. Classic tracks were set two days ago, but quite full of new snow. Felt a bit like breaking trail - soft and slow (tracks and skier...) Should be easier for the next skiers.

Trails were not groomed but in most areas we were able to ski in existing tracks. Snow cover was patchy in areas. The open prairie area had less snow coverage, and the wooded area had some slushy spots. Overall the skiing was pretty good and the park was beautiful.
